Raees Movie Plot

Raees is a 2017 Indian crime action film directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Gauri Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan Akhtar under their respective labels Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film was released on January 25, 2017, during Republic Day weekend. The film received five nominations at the 63rd Filmfare Awards, including Best Actor for Khan.

Raees was believed to be based on the life of criminal Abdul Latif. However, the filmmakers rejected this, adding, “The film’s story is a pure work of fiction, not based on any person, living or dead.” The film was both critically and commercially successful, being the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2017 before being eclipsed by Golmaal Again, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Secret Superstar. Raees was also the most pirated Hindi film in 2017.

Raees movie Review

This is one of the best SRK movies in a very long time. Because there is a lot of action in this film, which is mostly enjoyed by young people, Shahrukh looked extremely gorgeous. The film was really good in the first half but a touch dull in the second. The final sequence in the film, featuring Sukhwinder Mathira Khan’s Udi Udi, was the only shot I found very appealing. The performance was superb. Despite this, the post’s filmyzilla link for the Raees movie download is provided below.

Particularly in Sunny Leone’s rendition of “Item Number” and the modernized rendition of the beloved song “Laila Main Laila,” which featured tons of glamor and hip-swaying beats and would make you want to whistle along, the music score was superb and had a hint of the 1970s and 1980s. Furthermore, regardless of the era it depicts, a Shah Rukh movie is never complete without a little love rhythm and a meaningful song. My personal favorite is the Arijit Singh and Harshdeep Kaur song “Zaalima.”

Raees Movie Storyline

The mid-1960s is when the movie starts, and the late 1980s is when it finishes. Living in Gujarat, where Prohibition is in effect, Shah Rukh Khan’s character Raees became involved in the illicit booze trade at a very young age. Raees works for a mobster named Jairaj (Atul Kulkarni), who smuggles alcohol illegally by bribing the police, along with Sadiq (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub). Raees follows his mother’s ideology, which holds that all professions are good as long as they do no harm to others and that no religion is superior to any employment. He decides to break up with Jairaj and go it alone. In Mumbai, he meets Musabhai (Narendra Jha), and with his assistance, he launches a bootlegging enterprise. In the meantime, J. A. Majmudar (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), an honorable IPS cadre police officer, is assigned to Fatehpur and launches a significant campaign against alcohol vendors.

Pashabhai, the astute politician and chief minister of Gujarat, gives Raees financial and alcohol support. Raees persistently evades Majmudar and carries on with his profession thanks to his wealth, cunning, and tact. In addition, he supports his neighborhood by hiring women to manufacture cloth bags, which he uses to transport alcohol covertly and deliver it to households. Raees marries Aasiya (Mahira Khan) in the interim. Jairaj tries to kill Raees because of their disagreements, but Raees survives and kills Jairaj instead.

Faizan is the name of Raees and Aasiya’s infant son. Pashabhai, CM, and a host of other people are invited to celebrate with Raees. The CM then proposes Raees a proposal to remove the unauthorized occupants from a property and build a housing development. Majmudar is moved to the control room department thanks to Raees. But then things go the other way around when Majmudar begins listening in on Raees’ phone calls. Raees attacks Pashabhai when he’s running for office. Raees is advised by the CM to spend some time in jail for his actions. A coalition is formed by Pasha and the CM while they are both detained. Raees chooses to challenge them by running for office from jail, and he succeeds.

Majmudar is returned to Fatehpura in the meantime. The state experiences riots in its communities. The CM places the housing project in a green zone because they believe Raees poses a threat. Raees finds himself unexpectedly bankrupt after spending all of his money on housing projects, elections, and distributing food amid riots.

Raees is given money by Musabhai in exchange for helping to smuggle gold. North India is rocked by repeated bombings. Police investigations lead them to Raees, where RDX was found among the gold he smuggled. Raees, who is devastated and grieving, kills Musabhai for violating his trust and murdering innocent people to spark unrest in the community. Raees brings reporters with him when he surrenders, knowing full well that Majmudar will kill him, despite Majmudar’s instructions for his officers to shoot Raees at first sight. Majmudar leads him into a remote area before shooting him. Raees remembers his mother’s lessons, his hardships in the alcohol trade, and his recollections of Aasiya in flashback. After he passes out, Majumdar and his group depart.

If you are a true fan of SRK, you will be beaming with happiness. His perfect acting technique adds attractiveness to the film. He plays a mixed role as “Raees” in the film, giving it his all. You would be astounded by his lines, “Ammi jaan kehthi thi, koi dhanda chhota nahi hota aur dhande se bada koi dharm nahi hota.” Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddique, among the other cast members, are excellent in their roles. Rahul Dholakia, the award-winning director, bases his film “Raees” on the actual field in Gujarat where the protagonist traces his life’s journey. The soundtrack to the movie is excellent, and it has accumulated 700 million views on YouTube. The movie is something you have to watch.
