The Maybach GLS comes with eight airbags. Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS is available in eight colors. Maybach GLS users have recorded an average mileage of 8.5 km.

What’s New

Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600 India has introduced the ultra-opulent Maybach model of their flagship SUV in India. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 has been released in India, with prices starting at Rs. 2.43 crore (ex-showroom), and available as a completely built unit (CBU) or fully imported model in our market. The German automaker is sticking to its initial plan to launch 15 new cars this year, including the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600. In India, it competes against the Bentley Bentayga, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography, among others.

As we previously stated, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is based on the new-generation GLS SUV, which went on sale in India last year. That being said, the new-generation Mercedes-Maybach GLS immediately distinguishes itself from the normal GLS lineup, thanks to the new dual-tone body color treatment option and all the bling on its face. Speaking of the face, the front end is dominated by a huge Maybach-style chrome grille flanked by slim LED headlamps. The bumper also features big chrome air curtains that are connected, as well as a thick chrome skid plate. The car also has chrome inserts on the B-pillars, a Maybach company insignia on the D-pillar, and gigantic 23-inch multi-spoke wheels, which are available as an option.

The cabin is where this Maybach truly stands out. It is available in both four and five-seater configurations, with the former featuring a fixed center console with space for a refrigerator to hold champagne bottles as well as silver champagne flutes, as is customary in these flagship versions. The cabin is upholstered in Nappa soft-touch leather and has a wheelbase of 3135 mm. The back passengers have 1103 mm of legroom. Of course, you can see the Maybach emblem throughout the interior. To enhance the environment, Mercedes also offers an optional Air Balance package with the Maybach GLS 600, which includes a dedicated scent of white osmanthus blossom, floral and light, with a mild leather note and spicy tea.

To begin, the Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600 includes all of the bells and whistles found in the basic GLS, as well as others that come with the Maybach insignia. So it includes an electric panoramic sliding/tilting sunroof with opaque roller shades, ultra-comfortable and bolstered ventilated massage seats, and a variety of ambient lighting, among other features. Regardless of whether you choose the four- or five-seater, the rear seats are also reclining. The iconic broad display unit, which houses the instrument cluster and media display, comes standard with two 12.3-inch screens and the newest MBUX infotainment system, which includes the ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice command system and Mercedes Me connected car technology.

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4Matic will be powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine rated at 542 horsepower and 730 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The engine is paired with a 48-volt EQ Boost system, which provides an additional 250 Nm of torque and 21 horsepower output.

In addition to the E-Active Body Control, Mercedes-Maybach has equipped the SUV with an Airmatic suspension system with Adaptive Damping System Plus (ADS+) for maximum comfort. A Maybach drive program designed for maximum riding comfort has also been devised. It combines air suspension with adaptive ADS+ dampers, which automatically vary their behavior at each wheel during compression and rebound stages based on the surface. While driving, a sophisticated sensor system is programmed to adjust the dampers based on the quality of the road, ensuring that the cabin remains stable even on uneven terrain and that the jerk or undulation experienced by one wheel is not transferred to the entire axle and, as a result, the cabin.

Design And Exterior

Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600 design radiates sophistication and refinement. Its sleek and aerodynamic form gives it the appearance of a car from the distant future. The vehicle’s exterior was built with high-quality components such as aluminum alloy and carbon fiber. This allows the car to be both strong and lightweight.

The exterior has a large chrome grille in the shape of a Maybach, flanked by slim LED headlights. The bumper, like the air curtains, is comprised of large chrome sections that are connected together, and it includes a massive chrome skid plate. The car is also outfitted with chrome inlays on the B-pillar and a Maybach brand emblem on the D-pillar, as well as massive 23-inch multi-spoke wheels, both of which are available as options. The massive Mercedes-Maybach grille, with the upright Mercedes Star on the hood in addition to the stylish vertical bars, makes an immediate and spectacular impact.

The 2017 Mercedes-Maybach GLS’s appearance has distinctive characteristics such as the imposing Maybach special grille with the Upright Mercedes-Benz Star, the big panoramic roof, and the Maybach exclusive and gigantic 23-inch (58.4 cm) optional Alloy Wheels. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS immediately demonstrates its full majesty and splendor. Chrome was used on the tailpipe trim components and the underride guard. There is also the Maybach Running Board, which is electrically retractable. Maybach automobiles can be painted in exclusive two-tone colors. There is also a radiator grille for Mercedes-Maybach vehicles, which features the Maybach brand name and an upright Mercedes Star.

Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600 Interior

The Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600 interior is rich and exquisite setting on the inside. The craftsmanship is flawless, and the materials utilized are of the finest standard.

Inside the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS, you have the freedom to make your own decisions. The First Class cabin includes everything a passenger might want, including a reclining seat and a refrigerator filled with silver champagne flutes, as well as 3D audiophile-quality high-definition entertainment. While the Maybach does not have the same lengthy wheelbase as the S-Class, Mercedes has removed the third row of seats from the GLS, reducing seating capacity from seven to four.

The two rear reclinable seats, which are lined in sumptuous Nappa leather, take up the majority of the space. The cabin is upholstered in Nappa soft-touch leather and has a wheelbase of 3135 mm. The back passengers have 1103 mm of legroom. The seat base is as luxurious as a sofa, the backrest is extremely supportive, and the ability to recline the seat to 43.5 degrees (the same as the S-Class) and extend a footrest makes removing your shoes and stretching out a true joy.

Simply adjust the backrest and footrest to your desired positions and remember the changes in the seat’s memory. The GLS could need a bit more legroom because it is narrower than an S-Class, but the seats are pleasant, heated, and cooled, and have various massage settings. To achieve a solid back and shoulder workout, push against the massage chairs’ resistance.
