Mahindra XUV 3XO compact SUV launched, priced from Rs 7.49 lakh

Mahindra has replaced the XUV300 with its newest small SUV, which is equipped with several feature enhancements. Along with having a different design language from the XUV300, it also comes in a new petrol automatic option this time.

The entry-level and mid-level models have a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that generates 109 horsepower and is available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter gearbox. Alternatively, a 1.5-litre diesel version with 115 horsepower and a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearbox (costing an extra Rs 80,000 compared to the manual counterpart) can be chosen. The 1.2-litre, turbo-petrol, 129-hp engine is the most potent choice on the 3XO.

It comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Mahindra XUV 3XO Price List (Variant Wise)

The SUV’s pricing has not yet been announced, but we expect it to be higher than the XUV300’s ex-showroom price of 7.99 lakh. We’ll find out when it launches on April 29th. It will compete with the XUV 300’s rivals, including the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Will the additional features make it a better buy than any of these?

Design

The XUV300 was a well-designed vehicle, but its age began to show with the introduction of new and exciting alternatives from other manufacturers. The XUV 3X0 will take this issue head-on. The bodywork will be redesigned from the front and back, with a new triangular design in the grille and a new headlight cluster. It also includes boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights, projector headlights, fog lamps, and new alloy wheels.
The Mahindra “Twin Peaks” emblem dominates the rear, with a big XUV 3XO badge beneath it. It gets LED tail lamps that are connected via a lightbar (I presume Mahindra has jumped on the connected LED trend), as well as a higher-positioned bumper. The SUV’s tailgate also receives a new design and lighting configuration.

Interior

The XUV 3XO will replace the XUV300’s out-of-date cabin. The most notable feature is the panoramic sunroof. It is a popular feature in India, and it may influence some customers in favour of the XUV. The 3XO’s instrument cluster will be digital, along with an infotainment display that we plan to share with the XUV400. Both screens will be 10.25 inches. It will also include ventilated seats, which may be beneficial to its passengers throughout the heat. The music on the 3XO will be provided via a premium Harman-Kardon setup. It may even receive linked car technology, a wireless smartphone charger, wireless connectivity, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a new steering wheel.

Should I buy the XUV 3X0?

With an abundance of amenities, the new product in the sub-4 meter SUV sector, the Mahindra XUV 3XO, arrived with much fanfare. To attract clients, the brand has incorporated numerous qualities that are unique to its market. It has three engine choices to accommodate different types of customers. You should give the Mahindra XUV 3XO some thought if you’re looking for a feature-rich SUV with a turbocharged petrol or diesel engine.

But, because the Maruti Suzuki Brezza has an NA petrol engine, you will have to give up some performance if you want more room and comfort.
