Hyundai Tucson 2024: Hyundai has unveiled the facelifted Tucson ahead of its international debut in 2024. The 2018 Tucson receives minor exterior design upgrades to refresh its appearance, but the cabin sees the most significant alterations. There has been no indication yet whether the powertrain and engine options will be updated or changed.

Starting with the exterior, the Hyundai Tucson 2024 facelift receives a redesigned fascia with a modified grille, LED daytime running lights, and a new bumper with a more visible skid plate feature. The grille’s basic design stays unchanged, but the apertures are larger and more rectangular. The LED daytime running lamps continue to frame the sides of the grille, although they have been modified to be more rectangular. Keen observers may notice that the upgraded SUV has one fewer DRL pod on each side.

The SUV’s appearance remains unchanged down the sides, but the facelift Tucson gets new alloy wheels. The rear bumper also gets a new look, with a larger skid-plate feature. Overall, the style improvements strengthen the SUV’s design.

The cabin is where the upgraded Tucson undergoes significant alterations. The manufacturer has dropped the dual-cowl design in favour of a more traditional appearance. The instrument cluster and central touchscreen are now housed on a single elongated free-standing panel mounted on a shelf-like protrusion. The air conditioning vents are hidden below, and the lower control surfaces have been modified. A closer look reveals that the gear lever has been relocated from the centre console, freeing up space for a wireless charging station flanked by cupholders.

Price

Hyundai Tucson 2024 Price of, a 5-seater SUV, ranges from Rs. 29.02 – 35.94 Lakh. Tucson is available in eight variants, with engine options ranging from 1997 to 1999 cc and a choice of 1 With Automatic transmission. Tucson comes with 6 airbags. Hyundai Tucson is available in Seven types of colours.

Specification

Hyundai has not divulged any modifications to the technology on board or the specifications but expects all of the amenities from the previous generation to be carried over. The SUV could retain the engines from the previous model. More information on the updated technology and engines will be provided closer to the model’s international launch.

Interior 

Let’s start with the interior, which has just undergone significant changes. The two large screens capture the viewer’s attention right away. The redesigned Tucson features a single-piece curved display with a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen interface. The second major alteration is the steering wheel. The Creta-like steering wheel has been replaced with a three-spoke device. The new steering wheel does look more modern than before. The centre console has been revised and now looks cleaner than it did previously. The buttons on the centre console are replaced by a touch panel as seen on the recent Tata SUVs. Overall, the redesigned interiors are more opulent than before, with an ideal balance of refinement and modern design.

We can also expect an addition of a bunch of new features! Tucson is already a feature-rich SUV and a set of new features will up the game for Hyundai. Currently, the Tucson is equipped with – dual-zone climate control, power front seats with memory function, heated and ventilated front seats, 64 colours ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, an Eight speaker sound system, and a lot more.

Exterior 

Outside of the new Tucson 2024, nothing has changed significantly. The SUV is quite similar to the existing model. Tucson, on the other hand, receives a new front grille and slight tweaks to the headlamps for a more modern appearance. Hyundai has also introduced additional features to the front and back bumpers, such as skid plates. The side profile retains those strong cuts and creases, and the SUV now rides on new alloy wheels. Overall, Hyundai hasn’t changed much about the Tucson’s exterior appearance because it’s already a visually appealing SUV.

Engine Specifications

Hyundai Tucson 2024 has not announced any changes to the powertrain options for the new Tucson. This means that it will continue with the same 2.0-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines in India. The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 154bhp and 192Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a 6-speed torque converter gearbox. Whereas the 2.0-litre diesel engine produces 184bhp and 416Nm of torque and comes mated with an 8-speed torque converter transmission.
